Every third Thursday of the month, PD members gather at an informal and social networking event. It’s an opportunity to get together with members outside of meetings, get to know each other better, and explore a local venue. No reservation necessary.
This month we are going to Brew City MKE!
Thanks to PD member Mame McCully, The Milwaukee County Historical Society will play host for our February Third Thursday at their popular brewing exhibit and beer bar at the Shops of Grand Avenue (in the spot formerly occupied by Applebee’s). Brew City MKE has a giant blackboard listing beers by name, style, alcohol content and neighborhood. Wine is also available. Even the restrooms feature images of Milwaukee’s brewing past. The spot is cozy and warm, perfect for winter.
It’s an optional experience, but the purchase of a drink will get you a PD special - entrance into the beer museum for free, a $10 value. And, trivia starts at 7pm, if anyone wants to stay and play.
Parking: Grand Avenue garage (just $3- with Brew City MKE validation) and free or metered street parking
