Did you know, sex discrimination was added to Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 in an effort to kill the Act entirely?
Hear this story and more on Thursday, April 26 at the first program of our series on "Confronting Sexual Harassment." Attorney, and Professional Dimensions Board member, Rebeca Lopez, will walk us through a brief history of the different stages of women's advancement in our country.
Long-time leader Margaret Henningsen will also join us to share her story and personal experiences. Margaret has a long and successful history in Milwaukee's finance and real estate industries and is the former Executive Director of the Women's Fund of Greater Milwaukee. Her story reminds us that women of all backgrounds, generations and career levels confront sexual harassment at work.
We hope you will join us for the entire series on this important issue and encourage you to bring a guest to expand this conversation beyond our membership.
Please note, this meeting takes place on THURSDAY.
